Perfect for a summer read. Take this book and enjoy it while relaxing on the beach. It was light, I enjoined better the first half, but in the end it filled its purpose.

No way, Jose'! Nothing like I was expecting -- totally unbelievable. Still in love with his ex and making no secret of it. Uses his sister's best friend to get revenge at his ex's wedding. And without much character building (well there's plenty of gratuitous sex), he suddenly discovers he's not really in love with his ex any longer, even though she's just cancelled her wedding to his teammate. Oh my gosh! Help me! This is just too bizarre. Silliness from start to finish. Shocked I stuck with it No way, Jose'! Nothing like I was expecting -- totally unbelievable. The friend arranges for our gal to talk with him because he needs a favor too... You see the wedding just happens to be the brother's ex-fiancé's, Oh and she is his ex because he was injured on the football field to the point where it looked like his career was over. Ex tells Wes she is done while he was in the hospital bed. Lovely...So, Wes needs to go to this wedding because his body rebounded beyond any expectation... and will be back playing pro ball again. He convinces Teegan to fake date him for the wedding so he can deliver in person that he is still the pro football player and the ex missed out. Teegan has always thought Wes was the best... sweet and caring. She would just get tongue-tied around him. The idea of her going to this wedding with him, being his date/fake relationship works wonders for her because she will not be pitied or called out. Little do either of them know all the different turns and hiccups that will happen to bring them together for real. A gifted copy was provided by author/publisher for an honest review. This was my first read by Christina Elle and I really enjoyed it. It was a quick funny, endearing book. I loved how awkward and funny Teegan was but really felt bad she was always so down on herself. Wes kept going back and forth between a good guy and a bad guy. Like you understood where he was coming from but he kept making so many mistakes you just wanted to smack him upside his head. Even in the little sad parts it was funny. This was a quick novella; but still held a punch with the sweet and sexiness; and was about 2 long time friends finally seeing what has been in front of them this whole time. I enjoyed it from start to finish. Would love to see more about this couple in the future.

A quick read, Anywhere With You was a light story with a lot packed in. Teegan and Wes have known each other for years. When her sorority sister, and Wes' ex, gets married. Teegan decides to drop her stag tradition and bring him with her. A fake relationship creates unexpected sparks. Teegan was cute and quirky if painfully shy and awkward. She was equally endearing and pitiful. I'm kind of on the fence about liking her because from the start she was a ball of neuroses and vulnerability with sparks of strength and determination. There were far more moments where her character was likable than there were with Wes though. From the very beginning Wes didn't have a ton of redeemable actions. There were far more moments where her character was likable than there were with Wes though. From the very beginning Wes didn't have a ton of redeemable actions. He was tolerable throughout the story and marginally likable, but not enough for me to not want to constantly roll my eyes in disgust at his motivations and obsession with Juliet. Not enough of his supposed goodness was talked about or shown so I'm left to guess that at one point he was a great guy. All we really have to go on is that he saved dances for the shy, sweet Teegan at various dances they were both attending. Not exactly a ringing endorsement, you know? POSSIBLE SPOILER ALERT UNTIL THE END OF THE PARAGRAPH...SKIP AHEAD IF YOU SO CHOOSE. And what is it with men in these stories that have to kiss their ex or get some kind of physical with them to determine that they're over them? Why can't they be honest with themselves and use their heads and hearts? Seriously getting burned out on these types of men's actions in moments like these. Misty's hovering during Wes' attempts to make amends made his groveling and their reconciliation seem rushed and insufficient for the hurtful things that were said. He really was a huge jerk and the things he said about his motivations concerning Juliet as well as why he even came with Teegan were awful. It was going to take a lot to come back from that and Misty's orchestration up to this point to get Teegan to listen were helpful, but completely detracted from and truncated a whole lot of the things he could have and should have said to prove that a "forgive and move forward" was justified. There was a majorly unsatisfying conclusion regarding Juliet. The parting thoughts from her via Wes were out of character and felt like a way to quickly take care of her loose end. I mean, look at what she did to Wes. Not to mention her described character traits that haven't really changed since college. As a side note, the scene when Wes came to his sister to find Teegan and to gain her advice for how to fix things was off-putting and detracted from the flow of the story's falling action and dénouement. Her sexual stuff when Wes went to her room was probably added to relieve some of the tension and lingering hurt Wes caused during his epic screw-up but came off as awkward and unnecessary. She didn't have to describe what she wanted her husband to do in such detail from the entryway while standing with Wes. Her husband was worried about his reaction to the face paint and instead of saying something like, "I'll be right there, then you can eat me like the good zombie you are," she went into detail about the scenario she wanted and that tipped things into creepy, not because of their kink, but because the timing and audience wasn't appropriate. Overall the story was alright. There was a lot of passion between them and also quite a bit of romantic potential as well. With an ending that was more of an HFN than an HEA, it was both hopeful for their future and disappointing that we don't really get to see if they can live up to the promise they were beginning to show after reconciliation. ARC willingly read and reviewed.

I needed this book. Yes, needed. Since February, our house has been neck deep in baseball and tomorrow it will officially end. (Last day of the second baseball camp) I needed a cute, sexy, rom-com to read. I’ve read all of Ms. Elle’s romantic suspense books and they are excellent, so I went with the knowledge that it would have some funny moments. She didn’t disappoint at all. In fact, there were some parts that I shouldn’t have laughed at but I did. And that’s what I needed. I won’t go into the plot; just read the blurb. This is a friends to lovers story that hits all the right buttons with me. Tee and Wes are connected by college and Tee is Wes’ sister’s best friend. OMG!!!! Misty and her husband were HILARIOUS!!! The whole “dress up” scenes were just too damn funny. Trust me. You will laugh out loud. So while we have the whole best friend’s brother vibe going on, you can also see that something was brewing back in college with Tee and Wes. *swoon* The revenge part of the plot was nicely done. I particularly loved the game scenes; Twister is the best. Juliet is so NOT a nice person. I just couldn’t see why the other girls even liked her, or Wes for that matter. I mean seriously? She wasn’t even a mean girl. Just a non-person that was greedy, needy and basically a class A *itch. Now, the other girls were a hoot and they really seemed to care about Teegan even if she thought that they pitied her instead. Wes and Tee as a couple were a dream. Tee really gave it to him near the end of the book. He deserved it and I think that he knew it, too. You can’t have your cake and eat it, too and except Tee to be okay with it. She’s a very strong woman but she wasn’t going to let him get away with that crap. And oh my, the scene with him, Misty, Tee and the other girls afterward? I had tears, yes, tears. Do yourself a favor and pick this book up. You will be laughing, swooning, cheering for Wes and Tee during the games and come away with a great friend to lovers story that I will definitely re-read and put on the keeper shelf. Ms. Elle is a great writer and it shows with this one. Can I admit that I miss the grannies and guns? Just saying…

What a wonderful little read. I loved this book so much, even when I wanted to hurt someone..lol. A wonderful storyline that would have you smiling one minute, then frowning the next. There are even a few giggle worthy moments tucked between the pages, but it is the story of the football player and his sister's best friend that wins the game. What do you do when you are the last single girl amongst all of your sorority sisters and you are invited to the next to last one to get marrieds wedding? You hunt down a date! Fate being on her side this time because while meeting with her friend Missy, Teegan gets the answer to her prayer. Problem is, it's Missy's brother who comes to her rescue with a plan of his own, he wants revenge on the bride, the one who walked away from him when he was injured and thought to have ended his career, crushing him. She just wants a date, he wants revenge, but when things get a bit out of hand and the lies become so much more than them just dating, they have to take their fake relationship to a whole other level. Let the fun begin, because trying to keep up the farce has their own feelings becoming a bit of a problem. The characters are so very well written and extremely likeable. Teegan is sweet, selfless, and a beauty inside and out. She's had a thing for Wes for years and just the thought of them dating has her excited, even if it is fake. Wes is handsome, tall, big (as a football player should be), sweet and hell bent of making sure that his ex knows that he will be returning to play football, right before she marries one of his teammates! He has always liked Teegan, she has always cared a great deal for Wes. Will this wedding be the ticket to the big game for the two of them, or will they end up being knocked completely out of the playoffs? You just have to read this book to find out, because I guarantee that you will not put it down until you find out the answer to that question! I highly recommend this book!

Nothing like kicking him when he was down. Wes wanted her to pay and wanted his revenge to include public humiliation. The plan - Wes would be Teegen's date to the wedding, pretending they are the world's happiest and most in love couple. The only one who saw a problem with this is Misty, his sister and Teegen's best friend. We all know no good plan ever goes without flaws and need to be adjusted. Add in human emotions and there are no guarantees. The characters are fun, even those I wanted to slap. I wish Ms. Etta, the bride's grandmother, would have had a larger role. I know I was going to like her. Overall, this was a fun and flirty read. The deeper Wes and Teegen get into the plan, the hotter their emotions are running. At first it was just her mouth that kept running away from the plan, but soon it became a whole body problem. While the fake date concept is not original, it was done really well.

Teegan and Wes get along so well that its easy to fool everyone but are they fooling themselves too or is it real? This book made me cry at one point. Don't worry. It is not an ugly cry book. Its all on me. I've been feeling depressed lately and the wording of the big upset before the reconciliation got to me so much I cried. The words kept squeezing my heart for Teegan. I felt her pain. It was that well written. Like I said. Don't worry. This is a comedy and it will have you laughing. I do recommend it.

Anywhere With You was a cute and easy to read novella. It is the first I have read from Christina but won’t be the last. With the knowledge this may be all she gets from Wes, she dives in head first and takes Wes along for the ride.

Teegan is going to “another” college sorority sisters wedding, and just like the prior “six”, she’s going alone. Sick of being the long sister with no date she jumps at the chance to go with her college crush, the sexy Wes. Wes is an NFL player whose career is in jeopardy due to an injury. At his lowest point, his fiancée walks out on him so he comes up with a plan to ruin his ex’s upcoming wedding. Yep the very same wedding he just talked his old friend Teegan to take him as her plus one. The laughs are endless, with a touch of sadness thrown it but boy oh boy is it ever worth it. 2 Thumbs Up for a great, curl up on the couch story, that I highly recommend. You won’t be sorry you grabbed this one!

This is a short yet sweet novella about 2 longtime friends finally seeing what has been in front of them pretty much the entire time. Teegan has to go to the seventh wedding of one of her sorority sisters. She would be going yet again alone and she doesn’t want to. Wes offers to be her date. Wes is her BFF’s brother and the girl getting married is Wes’s ex-girlfriend. This is my first time reading this author and I enjoyed this novella. It is fresh, exciting and the secondary cast of characters are delightful; they add an extra shine to the story. Teegan and Wes do make the perfect couple and their way on that journey was sweet and steamy. My Rating: 4.4 stars ***** “I received an advanced copy of this book from the author at no cost to me."

DNF I wanted to like this book. The blurb made it sound so wonderful. But once I started reading I was like WTH is this. Wes is a total weirdo. He gets dumped by the bride because he gets hurt (he is a football player) so he wants to use Teegan as a date to get into her wedding to say I am better than the man you are marrying? I mean how childish. And Teegan is not off the hook. She has a crush on Wes so she goes along with it. I mean come on. I couldn't do it. I made it to maybe the 3rd chapter and I had to stop reading. It was getting on my nerves. This is my first Christina Ella book and I don't think I will be reading any more of hers. This is my review and thoughts.

Anywhere With You was a really cute and quick story. It is the first from Christina for me but I really enjoyed reading it. The story follows Teegan who is sick of going to all her friends weddings alone, and Wes, the bride's ex who is out for revenge. Teegan is quite, she isn't as outgoing as the rest of her sorority sisters. I felt for her character. I could see a little bit of me in her. Wes is the complete opposite of Teegan. I liked these two together. I did feel that Teegan wanted too much too soon. I also felt that maybe Wes wasn't as far along as what Teegan was towards the end. It seemed a little rushed to me. But other than that I really enjoyed reading this book and can't wait to read more from this author.

Awesome Rom com This was my first read from Christina Elle! And definitely will not be my last! While I didn't love everything about it I still loved this story. Its a best friend older brother/ revenge/ friends to lovers/ secret crush troupe and I seriously love books that mash troupes together it's my thang! Tehran has been to six of her sorority sister weddings solo and she's tired of being that sad woman so she needs a date to her last sorority sister wedding. I loved teegan and we'd together want i hated is how it seemed Wes didn't want revenge but that he wanted his ex back. But in the end it all worked out with steamy and funny moments thrown in.

Marie's Tempting Reads ARC Review: A quick sexy and oh so sweet novella that had me smiling good and wide. This is a bite sized story that had lots of fabulous moments with a sprinkling of giggle worthy ones thrown in the mix. It was sassy, sweet, cute and perfect for summer time or weddings coming around. I so enjoyed the way this book was written. The characters really sparked my interest and the plot fit beautifully. I could see myself quickly becoming obsessed with Christina Elle's writing. L Marie's Tempting Reads ARC Review: A quick sexy and oh so sweet novella that had me smiling good and wide. One of my favorite things to read about is brides! Now it does not have to be about the bride herself. Teegan has to go to the seventh wedding of one of her sorority sisters. She just does not want to do it alone. Wes wants to go to make the bride see what she is missing since she walked out on him at the worst time. First book by this author. I can not wait to read something else from this author. I read this book in 1 setting. I finished at 2:30a. I absolutely LOVED this story. Anywhere With You by Christina Elle blew this short novella out of the park!!! The story of how Teegan will do anything to not have to go to another sorority sisters wedding alone including take her best friends brother Wes who just happens to be the brides Ex. Not only is he an ex but he is a bitter ex and wants nothing but her to regret her decision. Together they try and make everyone believe they are in love but the only people they mess with was themselves and I absolutely LOVED this story. This was my first read by Christina Elle and I really enjoyed it. Definitely will read more by her.
